ORLANDO, Fla. — Police officials in Florida are investigating Saturday after a man was shot at a hotel by someone he met online.
At 11:16 a.m., officers with the Orlando Police Department said they responded to the SonoHotel in reference to shots fired, WFTV reported.
Police said the man told officers he met the shooter online but could give no further details.

The incident happened in the victim’s hotel room, according to police.
The man was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition, WFTV reported.
No other details were released.
