EVERETT, Wash. — Crews with the Everett Fire Department helped to rescue a 13-year-old pug/schnauzer mix and his owner after they were found stuck down a 35-foot embankment
Fire officials said the dog, named Mr. Gryfinn, went out by himself Saturday night and fell down the embankment.
The dog’s owner attempted to rescue him, but officials said the terrain was too steep to navigate back up without assistance.
Fire crews used a rope to help pull the pair to safety Sunday morning.
“We are happy to report that all tails are wagging and everyone is doing well with no injuries,” a spokesperson for the fire department wrote on Twitter.
