Forecasts

More rain moving in Saturday

It’ll be mainly dry for tonight but by morning, expect some pockets of drizzle or light rain with the best chances of rain early in the North Sound. By late morning through the afternoon, expect more showers of rain around. With abundant cloud cover, expect highs in the 50s areawide with 40s in the mountains. There could be some light snow or mix showers in the mountains with the snow levels above 4,000 feet.

By Sunday, we’ll be mainly dry with some sunshine at times. A slight chance of showers remains, but mainly nearer the mountains. Highs will be back in the 60s for many.

Monday will be warmer with some sunshine and highs in the 60s to near 70 though the warm weather won’t last. A weather system moving in by Monday night and Tuesday brings periods of rain through Tuesday and even into Wednesday. Rainfall will likely be greater in the mountains, and quite a bit less in the lowlands but expect wet roads on Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Longer-range indications are for drier conditions toward Memorial Day weekend but it is too early yet to determine just what sort of weather we’ll experience over the holiday weekend.
